"FA" should stand for FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION................ But all too often when the program, timeline or possible outcome is not to their liking, then FA stands for the level of action they are prepared to take!
FOR EXAMPLE :-
The case of John Terry and the allogation of racism against him - whether true or false - should be dealt with immediately, not put off so that he can play for England in the European Championships.
The FA's lack of direct action in this case tells us two things:-
- The 'KICK IT OUT' programme, to fight against racism in football, will only be enforced if its convenient and not inconvenient to Englands chances in major competitions ..... !
- That the evidence against Terry is sufficiently serious that to hold a tribunal before the European championships, would mean Terry would miss the opportunity to play as Captain of England and reduce Englands chances of succes..... !
what does 'FA' stand for .............. we all wait anxciously to see.
